Chicago artist will hold first exhibition on South Side

Chicago-based artist Faheem Majeed has his first solo exhibition at the South Side Community Art Center (SSCAC). The exhibition entitled "From the Center'' displays his artwork from over the past 20 years.
Majeed's artistry reflects his attraction to odd, broken, or marginalized things. He uses art to understand connections, motivations, and ultimately the outcomes of people, places, and things.
The exhibition is being held at the SSCAC located at 3831 S Michigan Ave. and will conclude on March 27. The exhibit has been open to the public since February.
