Homan Square and Arts in the community
The 4th Annual North Lawndale Arts Festival was a melting pot of activities and information for local creatives, residents of North Lawndale - but, maybe, most importantly it gave local artists a platform to showcase their talents in their own community.
Held at the Douglas Park Cultural Center, 1401 S. Sacramento Dr., students from the School of the Art Institute Chicago were among the artists who shared their work, offered their thoughts on the community's art scene, and more.
