Alum, The Real Chi

Alloíza Mari (they/them) is an Afro Latinx trans person covering the Criminal Justice Reform beat with Real Chi Youth. A Georgia transplant, Alloíza fell in love with the city of Chicago, and its struggles, by working with activists, including video editing and interviews. Their previous work includes advocating for homeless and disenfranchised queer youth and filming videos for organizations like Brave Space Alliance and Third Wave Fund.
